Calgary, Alberta, Canada– The iTerra IJ875 is set to be released in the Fall of 2008. The iTerra IJ875 was developed for the Geophysical, Geological, as well as the Oil and Gas Industries.
The iTerra IJ875 inkjet printer advances the quality of well log printing with color at an affordable price. With color logs you will be able to discern and target the area of interest quicker, freeing time to do other activities. Designed to work in either office or field environments, well log or chart color printing comes to you in a compact format, utilizing space more effectively. “Both the speed and the quality of the printer are impressive”, says Mark Hopkins, President, The Imaging Systems Group Inc. “The IJ875 throughput speed is faster than most other ink jet models, but not at a premium to the customer.”
The IJ875 is the first of its kind, incorporating a fully functional operating system using Windows XP embedded. The user communicates with the printer directly through a five inch touch screen; the printer can be programmed to run any Windows based applications. The job resource management tool presents all the necessary data to monitor your jobs right at the printer or through any web browser. Print files can be stored on the internal disk drive and printed many times without resending; send once, print many. Also included is a front USB port that will read any memory stick print files, which can then be selected and printed through the touch screen. Additionally there are both USB and Network connectivity making it easy to print using the IJ875 windows driver.
The IJ875 utilizes four large capacity ink cartridges, which are constantly monitored. The system intelligence also aligns top of page for multi-copies and multi-plot jobs. And with the IJ875 you also receive paper-handling trays for stacked input and output. This totally eliminates the need for attended printing. So go ahead and print that 300 foot long well log with confidence or print those 20 presentation logs for this morning’s meeting.
